One of the most special parts of the ceremony was the Scottish tradition of a knot-tying ritual. With a rope wrapped around their hands, they literally tied the knot, symbolizing their bond and commitment. After the ceremony, everyone warmed up with a full spread catered by Stone Crock in St. Jacobs. Eve’s bouquet as well as the other florals, designed by Belmont Flowers in Kitchener, was the perfect mix of soft neutrals and rich winter tones.
Winter weddings in Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph don’t get enough love, but this day proved why they should. The snowstorm made everything feel extra cozy, the venue had that perfect old-world charm, and the entire day was filled with love, laughter, and really good food.
