Monica and Derek’s wedding at Langdon Hall was intimate, heartfelt, and completely true to who they are. Every part of the day felt intentional and personal in the best way.
As a wedding photographer in the Kitchener-Waterloo region, getting to document celebrations like this is everything to me. The quiet glances and the in-between moments that matter most… their entire day was full of them.
Monica and Derek chose to get ready on site at Langdon Hall and start their wedding day off with a first look in the garden. Having a first look helped them to ease the pre ceremony nerves and we were able to capture special moments of the two of them, as well as get a lot of their family portraits done before the ceremony.
Their ceremony of just 20 close friends and family was hosted in the conservatory. A room off to the site of Colonel Langdon's room that has gorgeous floor to ceiling windows and exposed brick walls, allowing beautiful streams of light through.
Monica and Derek were serenaded down the aisle by JuneyT on guitar.
Surrounded by all their favourite people, and an array of romantic florals from Harp and Fin, the two exchanged their vows and sealed the deal with a kiss.
They celebrated their new marriage with a full Langdon Hall dining experience, as well as speeches and live music throughout the evening.
While this wedding was intimate it was absolutely perfect and included all of their favourite things, and the people most important to them. I was so honoured to be a part of capturing Monica and Derek's day.
Langdon Hall is a wonderful venue choice for couples who want an intimate gathering, or the big classic wedding day. The property houses so many options for photo locations and the service provided by the staff is unmatched.
