August brought an unforgettable celebration

as I photographed Paige and Ty's stunning wedding in Paris, Ontario. Despite a rough start with a tornado touching down nearby, the weather cleared just in time for the day’s festivities, offering perfect conditions for their celebration.

We started at The Arlington Hotel, an elegant, historic spot in Paris. The groomsmen photos kicked off at the hotel's bar, where the guys enjoyed espresso martinis and champagne, and shared laughs while we captured some candid moments. This setting created the perfect relaxed atmosphere, allowing their personalities to shine through.

Next, I met up with the bride and bridesmaids in the wedding suite. Paige’s maid of honour helped secure her delicate veil, and the bridesmaids looked radiant in light pink dresses, each with its own unique style. The soft, romantic tones paired perfectly with the florals, which added a fresh and elegant touch to the morning.

The ceremony took place at River’s Edge, just across the street from the hotel. Paige walked down the aisle, gracefully accompanied by both her father and stepfather. The ceremony space was filled with beautiful natural light, which made everything feel so intimate and magical.

After the ceremony, we made use of the lovely balcony at River’s Edge for some family portraits, taking advantage of the scenic views. We then ventured out with the wedding party, capturing fun and memorable moments around downtown Paris, including photos on the iconic bridge and famous crosswalk. For newlywed portraits of Paige and Ty, the charm of Paris provided the perfect backdrop—an ideal mix of small-town charm and romantic scenery.

Later, we returned to River's Edge for a lively reception. Paige and Ty made a grand entrance, followed by their first dance as husband and wife to the sweet sounds of “You’re Still the One” by Shania Twain. Heartwarming father-daughter and mother-son dances followed, along with touching speeches from family and friends. The night ended with everyone dancing and celebrating love on the dance floor.

If you’re looking for a wedding photographer in Kitchener or surrounding areas like Paris, I would love to capture your day with the same warmth and attention to detail. Whether your wedding day includes a bit of weather drama or a picture-perfect sunset, I’m ready to document your love story in a way that feels authentically you.
